Other Outside Activities

Once all of the renovations and tennis courts are complete in Fall of 2002, the Dickinson Golf & Yacht Club will offer all of the amenities you could ever want. How many golf clubs offer boating, fishing, swimming, volleyball and other recreational activities including tennis and horseshoes to name a few?

Whether it be arriving by boat for a round of golf or letting the kids swim in the pool while playing a match of doubles (tennis), DGYC offers a wide-enough range of activities to satisfy any family.

The club is also a popular destination for boaters from Galveston, Houston or the Clear Lake area and is host to “Poker Runs” from time to time.

A family non-golfing membership at the club is $50 per month April through October and $25 per month the rest of the year and allows for use of the pool, volleyball, monthly billing and no cover.  Once the tennis courts and health spa are complete the membership will be $60 per month.  Single memberships at the club are $10 less per month. The jacuzzi at the Outback Deck, volleyball and horseshoe pits are open to anyone dining and drinking at the restaurant or pub without charge. Those who come by boat get free access to the docks and the pool in addition to all the other amenities as do RV guests.
